FOLLOW HIS TRIPS
01. Vail, Colorado January 2001
Attended a lobbyist event at the Lodge at Vail at the invitation of former Rep. Bob Ney (R-OH), who has been indicted and sentenced to 30 months in prison for his involvement with the Jack Abramoff-lobbying scandal.

02. Palm Springs, California Spring 2001
Took his family on a corporate sponsored trip to Palm Springs and has failed to disclose who paid for the trip. What his family was able to advise him on in California, that they couldn't do at home remains unknown.

03. Vail, Colorado January 2002
Same as #1. Fossella, Ney (guilty) and a whole bunch of lobbyists. Fossella used campaign funds to pay for his ski lessons, which have very little to do with his job.

04. Turnberry Isle, Florida February 2002
In February 2002 he flew to Miami, to stay at Turnberry, and back on a private jet owned by a corporate donor which he did not disclose. Fossella underpaid for the use of the jet by at least $10,000. Ephiphany Productions, a company admonished by the FEC for helping to make illegal donations to members of Congress inclusive of Fossella, picked up his entire bill for the stay.

05. Vail, Colorado January 2003
See #1 and 3. Fossella, a criminally convicted former member of Congress and a whole bunch of lobbyists.

06. La Hague, France 2003
Fossella traveled to La Hague France for yet another 'fact-finding trip.' He did not disclose who paid for the trip. Nor do we know what if any facts he found there. Chances are it is not their Government provided health care system where 96% of the population essentially have completely free health services.

07. Miami, Florida 2003
Nasdaq paid $3,037 for a "fact-finding trip" to Miami, possibly to study decimals.

08. Vail, Colorado January 2004
See #1, 3 and 5. Fossella on skis, doing very little to address education needs of his district. Oh and a lobbyist or twenty.

09. New York, NY 2004
Still looking for "facts" Fossella took a "fact-finding trip," with $648 being paid for by the New York Stock Exchange. Of that cost, $323 was for a hotel stay in...Manhattan. Yes he took a fact finding trip to New York City, where he lives. And instead of staying at his house, he had the NYSE put him up in a hotel. We hear he may have also tried to get them to cover the cost of the free Staten Island Ferry ride to his district.

10. Vail, Colorado January 2005
There isn't any ski related industry in his district or D.C. There are not even any mountains.

11. Las Vegas, Nevada February 2005
Fossella spent $1,318 in campaign funds to visit the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Vegas. Fossella says he was potentially meeting with potential donors and thus potentially evading FEC rules.

12. Vail, Colorado January 2006
This is the sixth trip. However it is also probably his last since that whole ethics scandal with lobbyists.
